1. Our commitment

Yorkshire Spray Finishing Ltd wants everyone to be able to use our website, including people with disabilities. We are working to make the site easy to read, navigate and use.

2. What we aim to do

We aim to:

  • use clear headings and plain language

  • provide text descriptions for images

  • make text readable against its background wherever we can (see known limitations below)

  • make the site work on phones, tablets and computers

  • work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA

We do not claim that the site currently meets WCAG 2.2 level AA.

3. Known limitations

  • Colour contrast: some small headings and labels are shown in lime green on a white background. Their contrast is low (about 1.5 to 1) and does not meet the WCAG 2.2 AA minimum for text (4.5 to 1 for normal text). This is part of our brand colours and we have chosen to keep it for now. If you find any text hard to read, please tell us and we will give you the information in another way.

  • The site has not yet been independently tested by an accessibility specialist, so other parts may not meet this standard.

  • Some content is provided by our website platform or other providers, such as the cookie banner and the spam protection on our forms, and we have limited control over how accessible it is. If a form is hard for you to use, you can email or phone us instead.
